The draw for the group stage of the Champions League has taken place at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo, with Milan facing Fenerbahce, Schalke 04 and PSV Eindhoven. Rossoneri chief executive, Adriano Galliani was present alongside captain Paolo Maldini and Ricardo Kaka who picked up the best midfielder award in last year’s competition. Coach Carlo Ancelotti followed proceedings on television and said: 'This group is not the best one in life. There are three sides behind us that are pretty much equal and this will probably create some difficulties. It will be curious for us to return to Eindhoven and Istanbul, this gives us a chance to redeem ourselves for what went down in the final last season.' Milan start their campaign at home to Fenerbahce on Tuesday, September 13 and finish at the San Siro against Schalke 04 on December 6.
