3. Third, copy the clientregistry.blob that you make in steam paste it to where you install your CS Source, clientregistry.blob will overwrite the older one!
4. Fourth, Open SteamApp.cfg with notepad
Find this line:
SteamAppId=260
#SteamAppVersionId=0
#SteamInstallPath="X:"
# [as is clearified later on, this should be your email address
SteamAppUser=aalb002@cafe.boomtown.net
Edit to this
SteamAppId=92
#SteamAppVersionId=0
SteamInstallPath="X:" ---> installation path of your source!! (with quotes)
# [as is clearified later on, this should be your email address
#SteamAppUser=aalb002@cafe.boomtown.net
SteamAppUser=the username you create in steam
SteamUserPassphrase=the password you create in steam
Save it then close
5. Create a shortcut of hl2.exe @desktop and add this line -steam -game cstrike
Then your done! You must be connected to the internet to play source have fun
